You can lower your chances of getting cancer by implementing healthy habits into your life like exercising daily, eating a balanced diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables, avoiding tobacco or any other harmful substances such as excessive alcohol consumption.
Some warning signs that might indicate a heart attack include pain in the chest, shortness of breath, feeling sick to one’s stomach or light-headed; breaking out in cold sweat; experiencing pain in the arm/back/neck/jaw/stomach area.
The first signs someone may have Alzheimer’s are memory lapses (particularly struggling to complete familiar tasks), confusion with time or place, difficulty solving problems (or even thinking clearly), mood swings, and uncharacteristic withdrawal from friends/family/social activities.
To keep good oral hygiene, brush your teeth daily and twice a day. Also limit intake of sugar-rich foods/drinks; quit smoking cigarettes etc., visit the dentist every six months for check-up+cleanings!
Ayurveda recommends drinking warm lemon water on an empty stomach in the morning; spicing up meals with ginger/turmeric powders which help digest food better besides encouraging mindful eating practices including sipping herbal tea like peppermint/fennel seed infusion after meals can also be beneficial.
In addition to wearing UV protective sunglasses outside during daytime hours when exposure to sunlight is unavoidable, taking breaks from screen time, such as computers/tablets/phones, every hour or so can rest the eyes significantly. Other ways include eating foods high in antioxidants/Omega-3 fatty acids like fish, nuts, blueberries, etc., and getting regular eye checks from an optometrist.
An Ayurvedic lifestyle means living each day in alignment with the principles of Ayurveda, such as eating balanced meals while engaging all senses during meal preparation/consumption. Regular exercise helps manage stress levels through meditation/yoga practices, which promote restful sleep patterns and should be prioritized over other activities when possible.
A typical Ayurvedic diet is based on whole grains, legumes, fresh fruits and vegetables, seeds, and healthy fats. Additionally, the diet may include various herbs and spices selected for their specific healing properties.
Coconut oil is used as a natural moisturizer due to their high fatty acid content, which nourishes dry skin cells without clogging pores. In contrast, neem/turmeric pastes have been traditionally used in India as antibacterial/anti-inflammatory agents that work wonders against acne/blackheads/hyperpigmentation issues. Honey/aloe vera gel provides soothing relief post-sun exposure burns, etc.
